Video streaming on a VPS?

Hi... i have a VPS hosting and i want to stream music and video. For the music/audio i install shoutcast plugin and it works fine ( tutorial from besthostingforums.com ). My problem is for the video!

What apps or plugins must i install in my VPS host?

Is there something? Are there any suggestions?

I guess If you want Live Streaming then use PrimCast

Thank you for your answer! I do not need server ( if i understood well ). I want to use live video streaming trough my VPS server. All i need is what apps or plugins to install!

Hi {Psycho}! ffmpeg is allready installed in my VPS. I am asking if there are some plugins or apps that i need to install in order to be able to stream video. I am lookin for a tutorial like this one http://www.besthostingforums.com/showthread.php?t=16842 wich is for streamin music!

Based on above answer, I assume you want the streaming via web-Server, not any streaming server.

Hi guys!! Thanks for the answers! My VPS supports video streaming! I want to stream video and audio for example through NSV, windows media encoder, etc.

to Have an adress e.g mydomain.com:8080 and streamin videos like hostin server.

Can i do something like that?
