This is my guide to encoding of small size x264 mkv movies. Since I Have a 80GB HD Which is Such a Ebarasement to tell I had to Delete the Movies Which I Downloaded So I Decided Why Not Make Them Of Small Sizes Rather Like 300/400MB.So I started Encoding Them With Megui.Also Small Sizes Makes it Easy For People To Download(Slow Connections Especially).So Here We Go.

What Is MeGUI?:

MeGUI is a very powerful tool to decrease the size of your videos/movies to a very small

Is it possible to encode 1GB to any small size?:

yes it's possible to encode 1GB Size into 400MB-600MB

Does it work with internet?:

no it's not you can encode your viders/movies with/without internet but yes in future if you want to update the MeGUI you gotta use internet

Is your tool clean or Trojans/backdoors are there?:

no it's not i already scanned with Kaspersky 2011 and Other Antiviruses its clean

How much time does it take to Encode 1 movie?:

well it's upto you and your System specification i'm with 3GB Ram 2.4GHZ Windows 7 and i encode 1 movie in half an hour

• Setting up Encoder.
• Encoding.
• Editing of Output file

Setting up Encoder

You Must Have Following Files First

After downloading the above files follow these steps :

• Install MeGUI, Avisynth & CCCP
• Copy all 3 "Nero AAC" files to the Megui directory
• By Default - "C:\Program Files\megui"and paste it
• Run Megui (there will appear some thing like this)

click yes,




after clicking yes you will get this update files! select them all click update and just wait till it finishes updating....



after you reach updating this file "Updating Tx264. File 37/40." you'll get a pop-up of "Preset Importer" just select them all and click "Import" thats it



after you click "Import" you will get this "Duplicate Profile" notice just click "Overwrite Profile" and thats it



after you reach "Updating STAudio. File 38/40." you'll get another pop-up of "Preset Importer" just do as i said above "tick all" and import



after you click "Import" you'll get another same box of "Duplicate Profile" just tick the box of "Don't Ask Me this Again" and click "Overwrite Profile" thats it



tick all boxes --> Import



Tick it and "Import"

after the update is done you'll get the box of "Restart" just click the "Yes" button and wait till the megui restarts

who cares? just click yes



make sure all of them "Selected" if yes then click the "Update" button



if you got this error then click yes and download the "NeroAACenc.exe" file



after clicking yes you will get "Preset Importer" again just select all boxes and "Import it"



Select all and "Import"



Select all and "Import"



Select --> "Import"



After update finishes restart again by clicking "Yes"



Click "Yes"



this is last update which you can't update it if you tried to do you will get this error



to bypass this error! close MeGUI, go to this page

download the NeroAAC File! extract --> you will see this files in folder



if you're with linux then go to linux and copy the files --> pase it in C:\Program Files\Megui

or if you're Windows User then just do same go to "win32" folder

Copy 3 of them --> C:\Program Files\Megui Paste it if you got (merge the files) just say yes merge it! thats it now open MeGUI its working no need to update or anything

now just do this :

• Close MeGUI First
• Go to your folder where you saved/downloaded the File "Profiles From above"
• Right Click --> Extract
• you'll get a folder called "allprofiles" just copy the folder and paste it in "C:\Program Files\megui
• Replace the "allprofiles" folder with new one
• Thats it "Done"

now run MeGUI we will encode some movies

Encoding

• Run Megui and click Tools --> AVS Script Creator
• or just click "CTRL+R" it will open AVS Script Creator
• I/O --> Video Input click the box "..." and select the movie then wait atleast 10 seconds it will load the movie file

after 10 seconds you will get this box just close it! and go back where you was

if you wanna change resolution etc... (I don't do that) so just leave it and don't forget to tick the box of "Resize"

Click the save button you'll get again a movie picture close that too and thats it!

now we are back to the main index where we was, okey here all you gotta do is! after you save the button do same config as i've given in the pic see,

• Encoder Setting Of Video: x264: HQ-Slow
• File Format: MKV
• Audio Input: click "..." select the same video file .avi not .avs
• Encoder Setting Of Audio: Nero AAC: NDAAC-LC-64Kbps
• Extension: MP4-AAC

Click "Auto Encode" button and you'll get a pop-up of "MeGUI Automatic Encoding" gotta setup that too it's easy btw

Container: MKV
Size And Bitrate: Average Bitrate (if its 1000 make it 600 should be above 450 bitrate)

okey see the images the way am doing

"1016 bitrate" is the real of the movie am encoding and the size is "697.17MB" okey lets change the bitrate to "600"

bingo 411MB so i can call it "400MB Encoded by CyberAff" okey done? now look at the settings! fine? okey click the queue button

note: remember if you're encoding a movie and the movie bitrate is "700" you can change it to atleast "450" if you tried to change it more like i example from "700 BitRate" to "240 Bitrate" the video will fuc*ed up

okey after clicking "Queue" just go to "queue" tab after the "Input" panel and you'll see 4 files of your encoding now just start them by selecting them all and clicking "Start" button thats it

If your ram is above 1GB And ghz above 2.x then it will take approx 1 hour and some mins!


if more high then 15-30 mins
