a yahoo registration window popped out of nowhere on my pc!

this is really weird. this is the first time that a thing like this happened to me. i was just happily browsing KWWHunction when out of the blue a window popped up on my pc. i cant say if it was an internet explorer window because it had no toolbars or menus in it but it was a webpage, more specifically a yahoo registration page! it was yahoo brazil. the window had no app icon. after it popped up it began filling out the registration page. i am quite sure it was not a flash or an animated image that appeared because i can actually place the mouse cursor in one of the fields (it was the password field if im not mistaken--it all happened too fast). after a few seconds the window closed by itself. ive searched google but i cant find anything similar to my case. the first thought that occurred to me was that i was being spied on by someone or something, hence a spyware. but im not really sure. this coincided with my other pc problem (constant network disconnection) which i posted on a topic here yesterday. has similar thing happened to anyone of you before? i'm definitely formatting my pc later today! just wanted to know your thoughts on this before i do so. cheers.

btw im running win 7 on an intel dual core pc with 2GB ram, nvidia 8600gt vc, 320 gb hdd, and gigabyte mobo.

Never had this issue.

Format your pc, install a proper internet security application. Update your windows regularly and do proper virus scanning once in a while.

90% its a spyware maybe a virus too..Format the pc immediately,install a GOOD anti-virus(NOD32),update windows and do not install toolbars,and add a pop up blocker.
