Recommended shared hosting for IP.Board 3.1.x forum

Hello KWWH,

I have been helping some webmasters in KWWH and helping them sorting server issues so far I've found two hosts where IP.Board 3.1.x works well.

As we know IP.Board 3.1.x has some special requirements about suhosin settings and some hosts restrict php too much.

What you should look for:

suhosin.request.max_vars = 4096
suhosin.post.max_vars = 4096

Those are the minimal values in php.ini for IP.Board 3.1.x to work.

I count with your feedback to make this list bigger.

What about Dlow webden.org i think he host a lot of people from KWWH and i havent heard any complaints. I prefer a VPS or dedi for more control personally.

as you may or may not know, I do not usually like people recommending their own host.
however in this case I will make an exception.

My company, My365Host, works just fine with almost any forum board / software.
And if it does not, just let us know and we will most likely find a solution for you!.

Hostnulled.com works fine for IPb 3.1x and is much more reliable than some of the ones in the list I have tried.

yep, i do get those things in my current host i.e Scopehost.

The minimum recommended value for the configuration option 'suhosin.post.max_vars' is 4096, however your value is 1000. Your host will need to change this in the php.ini file.

& 1 more similar to that.

I would recommended my365host and i am using 2 hosting and i don't get such suhosin stuffs in my365host.

I HIGHLY recommend XenServ. Server is set up quite efficiently and forums operate very smoothly.
