Installing Remote Desktop on a Linux VPS With Ubuntu 9

I had the same problem but fixed it on my vps.
Try befor you follow the tutureal;

apt-get clean all
apt-get update

Got error Couldn't find package ubuntu-desktop

You have to install Wine first and then install Utorrent...

I tried this tutorial on ubuntu 11.04 and having problems. When I connect to vnc it says that I don't have the hardware to run unity and told me to use ubuntu classic when logging in. So how do I select ubuntu classic with putty?
