Just a hint for you.
If you are just looking for speed.
Don't just look at the price, instead ask the provider how many client will be hold on ONE server.

I can give 3 reason that 1Gbps port are cheap
-either your are a big reseller
-or you get unbeatable offer from somewhere (mostly order by phone only)
-or the 1Gbps server holding more client to reduce the cost (eg: 15~30 on ONE 1Gbps server)

Just as all of you noobs who just want to increase your post count, a 100mbit connection for a shared server is more than enough. And yeah im not going to sell hosting to 50 people from a single server so stop whining and get your hed outta your asses.
