[HELP] Trademark and Legal Issue
Hi all,
In need of a bit of business and legal advice. I have a landing page as part of a link pyramid, a URL that I own. www.manufacturersbestsellingproduct.com so to speak.
Now this site is integral in my external linking structure, that points to my money site (e-commerce retail store).
My URL has been noted by the manufacturer of the product, as I have just out ranked them on G to the #1 spot. Which I think has p**sed them off a little.
So it turns out they have a worldwide trademark on the brand name and product name, so my URL is in breach of trade mark and I have been told that to use images of their product and logo, as well as the URL is in breach of trade mark, and they can legally have the site removed and the URL transfered to them.
So looking into this I believe it is true. However, I don't want to lose the link juice and all the time spent from building up that site, that drives a LOT of traffic to my money site.
Any advice on steps moving forward. Someone mentioned to me to buy a company in the Camens or Russia and a server there and transfer the site, or to use a Katz server in the Middle East. This is not my area of black hat expertise so any one with any knowledge here I'd really appreciate the input.
Thanks in advance.thedarkest12 Reviewed by thedarkest12 on . [HELP] Trademark and Legal Issue Hi all, In need of a bit of business and legal advice. e.g. If you register domain with "CocaCola" keyword in it. They can suspend your domain even if you registered it in Ukraine, Russia, or any other country, because It's branded. If they sue you, your domain will be suspended 100%.
You shouldn't have registered domain with words that are branded.

Understood, and thank you for the advice. The URL is not for a company as big as CocaCola of course, but yes, the principle is exactly the same as this.
I assumed we'd stay under the radar for sometime, but the SEO was very good on the URL.
So there is no way to hide/mask the ownership of the domain in anyway and keep it active.
How about keeping the link juice and cloaking the URL in some way? Or is it pointless and we should just down the site?

PictureScream.com Hot-Vagina.com DownloadFileserve.com ImageScream.com Dating69.biz Streaming-Porn.orgI was just about to ask the same questions.
I was a few minutes ago from buying a domain for exemple: hotfile(.)pl
I was going to make a warez forum or blog with links from hotfile.
Then I was thinking what would happen if they will expand in the future and want to take all the domains hotfile(.)xx from every country .
1. They will try to threat me to get the domain for free or try to bribe me (in that case I could make some profit)
2. Sue me or maybe there are some easier forms of taking the domain faster from me.
If that would happen I might be in trouble because I'm actually linking to warez or there is no connection?
In conclusion does it worth to buy that kind of domain? (trademark).pl

myspacemp3.org:
By accessing this site you agree that you know that:
- myspacemp3.org is not affiliated with "myspace.com" or "any other site"
- this domain is not on sale and was not bought with the intention of selling it
- this domain/site does not intended to divert or attract web traffic from any other site
- the combination of words that compose this domain name does not intend to violate any trademark . Any combination of "this words" or any combination of "the letters that composes this domain name" that matches with any trademark is a simple coincidence. At the moment of registering this domain there wasn't any "exact" match between the name of this domain and any other registered trademark (USA/UE).

This makes it okey right?
