WRZhost.com WExplain.comSome CPA terms explained.
CPA = Cost per Action
There are certain subdivisions of cpa.
Email submits = Users fill in their email and when the email is verified you will get a conversion.
Zip submits = Same as email submits but instead they need to give out their zip code.
CPC = Cost per click. You will get paid for every click,usually this is 1 cent.
PPI = Pay per install. You will get paid after the user installs the program in the offer.
Mobile Offers = People need to input their mobile phone number and take a ringtone or wallpaper subscription for example, when your traffic is good you'll make tons with these.
GPT = Get Paid To x, where the "X" is unknown.
The GPT industry involves much more than just offer and survey sites. People sign up on this site through a registration form and they need to verify their email address and complete at least one X.
GPT subdivisions
PTC = Paid to Click
PTR = Paid to Read
PTP = Paid to Post / Paid to Promote
Therefor GPT could also be
GPTR = Get Paid To Read
GPTC = Get Paid To Click
Incentive = You can give your client something in return when he/she gives out their email or zip or fills in an offer. For example an e-book,mp3,rapidleech access,etc...
Keep in mind that not all offers allow incentives.
Iframe pixel/Javascript pixel/URL pixel = A pixel (or a tracking code) in this sense is a small bit of tracking code that is placed on the conversion page of a site or campaign. Invisible image pixels are the most basic type of tracking code. When the image is loaded, it tells a server information about the conversion and the affiliate who gets rewarded for the lead or sale. As the online advertising industry has evolved, the tracking pixel is no longer just an invisible image; it can be JavaScript or any other HTTP accessible language (PHP/Ruby/PERL/ASP/Java etc.).
There are a lot of subdivisions that I haven't explained but as soon as they will be added to onlinelogic I will explain them.TippiE Reviewed by TippiE on . Some CPA terms explained. InvestDude.comyour attempt to educate this forum of CPA will fail!
lol no seriously its a gr8 post... though would need to add a lot more info.
Here's a reason why CPA is so great and so lucrative.
Your avg Pay per sale program, actually gives you a nice epc of less than $0.01 (i get around $0.0095/click for SharingZone)... while with some of the best offers of CPA especially the mobiles have an avg epc of upto $0.30... while that epc might have been from non warez sites, but the average EPC for any warez site would probably be at min $0.03, which is still 3x higher than the pay per sale programs.
just one of the many reasons.InvestDude.com Learn to make money by investing in hyips (high yield investment programs), affiliate marketing and tons of other method ;)

Good list, however I would rather define GPT* like this:
*GPT = Get Paid To x, where the "X" is unknown.
The GPT industry involves much more than just offer and survey sites.
PTC = Paid to Click
PTR = Paid to Read
PTP = Paid to Post / Paid to Promote
All those listed above are GPTs. Just a quick clearification
Therefor GPT could also be
GPTR = Get Paid To Read
GPTC = Get Paid To Click
... etc.
