Your experience with onshore hosters and copyright

I am on the lookout for a host that is fast in terms of ping times, and can handle 1 wordpress blog with many many hits. i.e exactly like: Releaselog | RLSLOG.net

I am planning to start with a shared plan but i am worried about:

- The copyright on onshore (Ping is a ++)
- The latency on offshore (Copyright is a ++)

Since i can't change latency, does any one know any "chilling" onshore hosts from experience?

My site will be a release log for "medical warez" which a host shouldn't be worried about.

well you should really try prolimehost then even though they are onshore they allow warez linking and will take you site down only if you spam or host warez on their servers except that there's not many reasons they may take the site down.

their support is also excellent have even helped with installation phpbb [i was having path problems and stuff ]

have been hosted on them for past 5 months and there's has been no downtime in the past 2month or so

i highly recommend this ...but its your choice
