I am been using ther vps from past 2 week, and its too Good. Thier support is wonderfull, the vps are unmanaged , but sometimes they help you with installing the necessary softwares. I would recommend it to anyone...

I think hie server now better than before. I had bought his service since it 100Mbps.
After he upgrade his server to 1Gbps it much faster than before.

I am new to this forum but I felt compelled to post a little review on the KnowinServer crew. I have been with them for a little over two weeks now and have experienced zero downtime.

Firstly the price is unbeatable, for what you get hard disk/processor/port speeds, ect, I am yet to find another provider out there that can even compare. I have bought so called "unmetered" plans many times in the past and almost every time I've been shutdown due to overuse. With Knowin they stand by their word and truly offer a solid unmetered service.

In addition to competitive prices, their setup time is very poised and and professional. I had my dedicated server up in less than 24 hours as promised.

Lastly their support is top notch, friendly and very professional. This is something that is extremly important and from my personal experience KnowinServers has this on lock down. All in all they run a tight ship and anyone shopping around for dedicated hosting should seriously consider this service.

I have to second what Jumper has said. I had a vps with Knowing Server for a while and their service and customer support was top notch. They helped me out tons, mainly because I dont know what I am doing. I am sure I drove them crazy. They have great patience. The only down time I had was because of myself. I need to learn more linux commands and stuff I was lost with my vps. Yes I am such the newb. I will definatly be back when I know more.

Well knowinservers asked me to write a review a while back so here we are!

Well firstly, once you buy one it is set up really quickly. Mine was instant. Then you get access to a nice manager, which you can install an OS, reboot and loads of other features. I personally installed ubuntu 10.04 x64, then through putty I installed ICEwm and nxserver so I could access it with NXclient.
Very fast. Get 10MB/s upload and 10MB/s download.

Couldn't be happier for $15!

Hade a few memory issues with gnome tho, so it's best to go for Icewm.

Also, I got that email. Tried to respond and the emal was down.

I've been using KnowinServers for almost a month now and what I can say is that I'm pretty impressed with the service. Server loads are quite good not maxed out. Speeds are as advertised and support is good. You can always get him on msn if you are in a hurry.

One thing is that somehow the vps seems to reboot every couple of days. I'm not too sure why. Hope they will fix this as soon as possible.

every thing is working fine now for me. 2days back i got 256kbps with HF now i can get 5-8MBPS where they told me to expect 2MBPS only. so i am pretty much satisfied. RS asually rocks with almost 35MBPS speeds. ++++++++++++ they have got awesome support. i can say go for KNOWINSERVERS blindly. its common to have someissues sometimes. but i waited with them and they resolved. they changed my VPS when i have slow speeds. helped me with some ip ban issues with Hotfile and somany. thnx alot for support once again

Bought US VPS from Knowinservers last week. The speed is awesome, uploading 1Gb files to Fileserve & Megashare tooks 15 secs!! Hotfile took a bit longer but still impressive. The support is top notch. If your looking for a US based VPS looks for further!

Hello, I have personally tested their Netherland VPS And i got very good upload and download. Using torrents download speeds was around 35 MB/s, which is very good.
And i can vouch that they dont oversell from the fact of the uptime.
So it clearly states that you are trying to bash their sales thread. if you don't like it then please stop using it, instead of blaming/flaming the company

Here's KS W300 specs.

Uptime: 95% in 1 Week. 164.4Hours/168Hours (98%) Uptime Checked by Site-Uptime.

Speed: 100/100 you get what you pay for.

Connection to my PC: 100/100 Depends on your home connection. Mine's 5Mb/s and it works like it's my own computer with around 1.5ms delay

Connection to the Internet: 100mbit/s gives me 11.5Megabytes/s of Uploading Speed and 11.5Megabytes of Downloading Speed (Flat Rate Tested on constant Uploading).

Rar/Unrar. although I only have 1gb of Ram it unrars files same as my home computer (Amd Phenom 965 x4 @ 2.80Ghz Underclocked for minimal Temperature).

1gb File UnRar took me 58Secs. I forgot to took a screenshot but Here's a screenshot when I rar a 700mb File with 2 parts. took me 65Secs.



Support: 95%, Ofcourse the support over live support is not 24/7 Online but once you submit a ticket, the problem will be resolved as soon as they could possibly do.

Overall Performance:

9/10 - Price is not the Cheapest but you Absolutely won't get a Cheap Service.

i am using them for 5 months now

both shared and vps, i host 2 sites with them on shared and one vps for sborg, the uptime has been 100% and speeds are gr8 too...

support is gr8 too, i get a reply on my ticket within minutes...it matters when u open a ticket, if there are alot of tickets pending before u, u will be getting the reply after the queue is done so have patience

ok I think after use this service for a 2 weeks, I can do a good review:

I have the K-US-100 package. [USA]

Network: FAST AS HELL.

Download speed is AT LEAST ~8 MiB/s ALL TIME. Average is 10-12 MiB/s. From USA (fileserve): ~8 MiB/s. From EU (megaupload): ~12 MiB/s (yes, more than fileserve, ).

Upload speed: To host from USA (like fileserve): FAST AS HELL. Is impossible to calculate . To host from EU: Around 10-15 MiB/s

Customer Service: EXCELLENT

I only had 2 problems. At the beginning, I choose the NL package. But I realized that the USA one was better to upload to fileserve, or USA hosts. Then I created a ticket to return back the money to could choose USA one. After 12h my money was come back and I could choose USA package. The second problem was that the MTN function in the rapidleech OS template did not work. So I created a ticket, and after 12h mtn was working .

HDD & CPU & RAM speed

This is the worst puntuation, but, Is still good. Sometimes CPU is 90-100% and I am doing nothing . I think the puntuation for this is 7.5/10.


TOTAL: 9/10.

I think knowinserver is THE BEST VPS SERVICE to use rapidleech script or other service that need very much speed network.
