Default need someone who can configure my lighttpd on CentOS 5 linux

need someone who can configure my lighttpd on CentOS 5 linux
i have installed it without any errors and it's running fine... the .conf file is default because i tryed already to edit it but without success. so it just needs to be configured.

lighttpd is running but when i go to my browser and type in the ip address of my server i get a 404 page not found error.

this is what i did till now... and all was installed with success:

    yum update
    wget http://packages.sw.be/rpmforge-relea...l5.rf.i386.rpm
    rpm -Uvh rpmforge-release-0.3.6-1.el5.rf.i386.rpm
    yum install lighttpd
    chkconfig --levels 235 lighttpd on
    /etc/init.d/lighttpd start

if anyone can help me, please let me know.

    thank you, w47w47

Didn't you already post about this? There are a lot of tutorials for lighttpd. Have you configured it to run on port 80? I think by default it runs on port 81

Here I even saved you a google search

all solved... me idiot was watching the wrong ip in my browser. and i installed all just great and it's working.

i thought that the ip for my console is the same as the ip for root access to my server. but it's two different ips.
