Morons. RYC is paid (or was in the past) by companies as Reality Kings, Brazzers, etc.
This DMCA notice is legit. And even if you move offshore, you should remove copyrighted files after being noticed.
If you don't remove those pics, they'll email your server provider, after then their connectivity provider and so on.

GotMovies.netSo whats the point of moving offshore? i thought offshore they couldn't do anything. i don't think DMCA and RIAA have any rights in offshore countries, they only have authority in usa.
You know i don't really get what the point of these stupid companies are.. they aren't winning and they never will win or achieve anything.
Rapid share is making 90% of its profit from warez material. they started rapidshare for only one reason and it was to attract warez communities.. and yet DMCA and RIAA cant do shit.
They should just go shoot them selves and give up.

DMCA is American law, but it's not like other countries don't have copyright law at all... And when you host copyrighted picture, you actually HOST it. You can't compare that to warez linking.
RYC is aimed strictly at porn.
About Rapidshare and 90%... must be more. And yeah, when you send a DMCA notice to Rapidshare, they remove the file.

These companies are merely paid to send out those notices. In most cases, people will become frightened, and the material will be removed. These simple emails help cut down piracy; believe it or not. Plus, compared to actual charges they cost next to nothing.
