Is DMCA Rule applicable for Offshore hosting??

Hey Guys Last Tuesday My Site got shutdown..When I contact with my hosting company,, why its happen? thn they replied that Paramount Pictures Motion Company Movie Shutter Island (2010) was found on my forum. & they received a DMCA complain against it.. so that is why they shut down my site..So my question is to all expert webmaster.. thn what is the meaning of taking a offshore hosting. I clearly told them before taking their hosting plan tht I gonna use a warez forum & so tht I need a offshoring facilities.. than they said its fine. They also support offshore web hosting..Now they shutdown my site . really confuse guys.. I need all of ur co-operation..

It all depends on the host. Your host got scared and removed the site. There are hosts that allow you to remove the content and they continue to host you.It's all about respecting DMCA. Even if you move offshore you should still respect the DMCA. TPB for example. They got in trouble due to their agresive stance against anti-piracy.

But M8,,why they not inform me>>>they just close my site directly.. & before I purchase than the sales excurtive member tell me that they support offshore & warez.. I agree that ( you should still respect the DMCA.) .. but they need to inform me first before closing my site..which they dont..& next thing they are total bullshit of liar..i m saying tht bcoz when I chat with a guys at their live chat box thn he told me that its server upgradetion process, so tht is why my site not opening. It will open very soon. & in the next day I got another story .....why lie?????????????

Don't believe any host whatever they tell you unless you get it in writing.

This host doesn't allow even pornographic material.
