Overheating issue - AMD Phenom x3
Hi,
Right over past couple of days I've noticed my desktop pc is overheating VERY badly which somehow is causing the RAM + CPU to get extremely hot.
Yesterday I gave it a good clean out which has helped more but it is still getting really hot..
Anybody get any suggestions for a good fan/cooling unit for an AMD Phenom x3 8850?
Its now resulted in me taking off the sides so a lot more air gets into it - but is still not the same so I want to fix it.
BTW its all stock and has the default fan installed which comes with the Acer Aspire x1300..

Even I faced the overheating problem on my desktop with ADM Phenom X3.
I then got 2 more fans in my cabinet to direct the heated air to flow outside.
Currently my cabinet has 8 fans and it gradually show cooling of the processor.

How hot is hot? If you live in Europe your CPU is not the only thing that's overheating atm. God damn this heat wave .

I would recommend Cooler Master Hyper 212 + Noctua NT-H1
You will get at least 10 degrees C lower temperatures and the temperatures won't rise fast which is probably the case now with the stock cooler.
check reviews on the net for the cooler and the thermal paste.
