Insert Image Code

Hi VB expert ppol,, I just have installed vb 4.03 version but dont like insert picture option.. I just want code like when i select the insert picture icon

That makes no sense at all I've no idea in the world why that world be missing if you've just installed it.

Link me to the site and create a test member account so I can have a look. eg something like:

He means that he does not needs the icons,he would like to have Codes for it instead.
vB has icons for IMG,QUOTE,CODE and phpbb has Codes.

OK go to ACP >> Styles & Templates >> Style Manager >> Edit Template >> Show Thread Templates >> showthread_quickreply

Find:

<img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_editor}/insertimage.png" class="imagebutton" id="{vb:raw editorid}_cmd_insertimage" width="20" height="20" alt="{vb:rawphrase insert_image}" /> 

Replace with:

[img] 

OK go to ACP >> Styles & Templates >> Style Manager >> Edit Template >> editor_toolbar_on

Find:

<img src="{vb:stylevar imgdir_editor}/insertimage.png" class="imagebutton" id="{vb:raw editorid}_cmd_insertimage" width="20" height="20" alt="{vb:rawphrase insert_image}" /> 

Replace with:

[img] 

If you don't want it to say [img] you can put something else their instead.

No its not I want... I justsay when I gonna post something at my forum. When I need some screneshot for a movie. then I have to click Insert Picture Icon but when I click that icon then a combo box come out like blogspot which I dont want. (there is two option) from computer or from url but I just want when I click that Insert Picture icon thn it autometicly create code like [img]file description[/img] on my body text. When we click # button insert for download link than its come as a

file description

then why not for picture directly. i dont want that combobox.. Now I hope undersatnd

I'm even more confused now as to what your after. I honestly don't understand.

TinyPic has a plugin (as do some other image hosts) that you can add to your site.

Warezboy do you mean you want the img to be copied directly?

just paste the link like http://tinypic.com/images/404.gif and it will autmatically parse the link as an image?

well, i think problem is: he using WYSIWYG editor. So, the insert picture was like that. Try standard editor.
