We are implementing a new design to Litewarez Front end and were looking for some reviews,ideas,pros,cons

Firstly let me just explain some of the Features we have implemented!

• Block Layout
• Minimizable Areas

• Live Download filter system
• Easy bookmark on any search result
• Facebox Model dialogs
• Stylish tooltip system

• 2 Column layout (left as primary, right as sidebar)

Lite I have to say you needed this change big time. Your site has great features but has lacked a good image.

Suggestions,
- new favicon
- new logo
- rearrange the file downloads in the menu bar. Or allow user order
- The colours in the nav bar, and downloads (blue) dont match and look weird with the black and the light bg.

Overall it looks alot cleaner just change the colour scheme imo.

I looked at this morning when your first posted but didn't reply. You've made a few changes since.
Can I say first I didn't think their was a hell of a lot wrong with the first one, infact I really liked it. Layout wise I like how you've added the download sections to the navbar. This is something I suggested several times on the old reviews.
The popup notices for the links on the navbar are sorta pointless. Seriously if someone doesn't know what a movie or a game is then forget about them ever being able to download and play it. Why does something like a movie or game need a popup description? Looks cool but is pointless. Oh and if a Webmaster need's a popup then you sure as hell don't want them submitting.
For the popup's on the downloads if their up(0)down(0) ie no rating can you display something like "Download Avatar (2010) <br /> Viewed 3 times" instead or have Download Avatar (2010) <br /> +2 Rating with 3 Views. Don't display the up and down, have a total rating.

At time of posting you've two search areas (this morning you had one) but I still prefer the one intergrated into the navbar on the original. The new locations are probably more visible and get more use but he original looked better. I suppose the new location could get you more traffic and reduce bounce rate as it's more visible.

I like the new top panel when viewing the submits but you still don't have a return to main menu like which is just pointing a gun to your users asking them to leave.
I don't get the 7 / 1 crap before the Top Downloads (which sounds better than Popular). Keep it simple and just have the name. Add a star if you want but the figures confuse things.

I like the blue on white but without a few of the little things like small icon images and the stars the whole page looks a little bare in my opinion. The old one was good as it wasn't over complicated but wan't bare either. Nice balance.

Still looks great overall though and the above are only a few minor suggestions. Excellent work as always and wish you the best of luck with it.

Looks good i like it need to improve a few things

Logo needs alot more work
You have gone way to overboard with the popups places its not needed:

• The navigation
• Links at the bottom
• Pagination
• The popular side box

And this is just my opinion but on every single link on the download listings it annoyed the hell out of me

The search buttons are ugly they need changing big time

Why have you given us the option to minimize the downloads block ? lol that defeats the point of the site

When you click contact it just breaks the site

Thanks for your replies.

Let me just say that Mr Happy, the changes i have made since you first look are me just testing out new things positions,objects etc.

As for the popups, i had that set to a[title] and have to to change to a[data-title] to show "extra" information about the link. (and the content within them i just dumped there)

And im not sure what you guys mean about the logo, i think its a tad too small but overall it fits Well

Search buttons are left shitty because i have to do some more work in css structure first!

Aah I meant that the skin is looking very dull bro. The last one was better as it had some shiny look atleast.
