It should be the opposite way round.
It's not wrong, it's just different.
With smaller files, users come back to the site multiple times, so that results in more ad revenue/premium sales.
With a 10 GB file, user comes once, downloads and never comes back again and if we pay more for that it's lose-lose for everyone.

'This is a file hosting service that I have been using for a while now. It's been running for 4+ months.'

First you give the impression you're the user of a new host. Now you're saying it's your own site. Isn't that like promoting your own site under false pretenses. You even not allowed to spam your own site in 'Useful Sites'.

Not completely true. If a file (let's say a movie) is 700 MB and a free user (new hosts mostly has free visitors) has to choose between downloading 7 x a 100Mb file on host A or a single file of 700Mb on host B, he chooses obviously for the single file. Leaving host A without any money at all.

As there are so many duplicates posted on the Net, it won't be that difficult for a free user to find the easiest way.

Fileserve.com (I have no interest in this host whatsoever).

Although I haven't been paid yet (don't have the min. yet), this host has all the signs of going to be a success.

    1) The rates are high.
    2) Remote Upload works perfectly (for both hotfile as Rapidshare) and fast.
FTP is also fast (about 5MBs per file).
    3) They actually answer your emails and keep you updated on their site).

The only thing you shouldn't do is compare it to Rapidshare (regarding the number of downloads).

But if you upload to high traffic sites, you're income will be good.

    My stats: 487 / $8.8500 + 0.22 Bonus
