& it prompted me to make this new thread...

I have a website I am looking to move to a new server as well, offshores. We allow warez linking, however we do not actually host illegal files. I have a lot of scripts running & I need control of my php.ini file.

But my site is too large for shared hosting, which I have now. The hosting company changes my chmod all the time to not allow access to my site for users. So I always change it back to 755...happens every other day at least...

I dont need a dedicated server, I was thinking VPS.

But I am now suffering DdoS attacks from an attacker. I know who he is, but I cant do anything about it. (for now)

All hosting sites I review, ask for monthly payments for DDoS protection. Is there not just a hosting company that just offers this as part of a package within a VPS deal?

burst.net wants $49.95per month, this is too much. I dont generate that much money from my site, it barley pays for it's own hosting...

@ scorpiohost.com/ I dont even see anything about ddos protection

& wrzhost seems to have a ton of bad reviews...

Can anyone recommend anything different? Or help in anyway?

- need -
- dedicated ip
- ddos protection
- root access
- warez linking
- substantial disk space (usualy all sites I have checked are more then ok)
- 10-40 per month
- legit company in business for 5+ years
- substantial banwidth, shared hosting will not work
- maybe a few nulled scripts, but I usually dont like to use nulled.
