Yeah, this might be a newbie question but I just started to upload and I need some advice...

What are some good music forums to submit my RS links to?

also -

Would you suggest setting up a site for downloads or just submit to sites?

Yeah, I have VIP status @ soundarea. I just started a few days ago and have about 660 RS points. I don't know if that's good or not. Just looking for more places to post.

Try to become uploader on a site that submits to DDL's such as Katz and *****.

It will bring you even more points,
you can also buy Jayfella's Multiposter and add as many forums as possible and spread your links.

You can set up your own site if you really want to, but it will fail if you only set it up because you want to submit some few downloads on it. It's just a waste of time.

If your goal is to gain as much RS points as possible then you should aim on movies. Movies will always give you the most hits.

If you got unlimited bandwith to upload with then you should post everything! If you have a limit you should stick with the newest releases.

Of course I doin't know the number of files you uploaded. But 660 points is very little.

With 40 porn movies I get about 8,000 - 10,000 points per day.
