Why smf sucks

noobs whom are u reffering to ? u have 242 posts some people dont need to post usless posts to get there posts counts up like others, those people are noobs if u have nothing of value to add to a disscussion dont post that way u dont look the noob

and smf doesnt require skill to code at all its no harder than vb or ipb im my opinion.

For me SMF is easier to use then vB and their admin panel is easier to use. Although i dont have much experience with vB. And installing packages on SMF isnt hard its rather easy

go for vB or phpBB

l0calh0st has it right, except it doesn't suck if you skin it yourself (because then it looks nice, you could even make it identical to vB if needed).

SMF is nice once you have it properly setup.

Not having the auto posters working on SMF is pretty good in my opinion.
