Actually I only have about 80 forums. Most of it are high traffic. I am an uploader in a forum and i have several threads that are pinned/sticky. And I already have thousands of links, My estimate is 6000 excluding DCMA ones

'Spreding links' is the most common term used in any similar thread like this
From my experience it wont make much difference if the number of forum to which you are sending your links is in between 10 and 1000 because only the top 10 matters

Manually post your links only in top 10 forums
build some reputation by increasing the post count
buy vip in those forum from which you are getting good count
look for the replies in your thread,make downloaders believe that their doubts and request are not falling in dough ears
provide RS and MU mirrors if possible.

Make people bookmark your profile and search for your threads

when i start uploading my stuff on hotfile, after 2.5 months I got my rank to DIRECTLY PLATINUM 99% and never turn down (except 1 day - down to GOLD). Soon I am gonna release an article regarding how to get good downloads and get PLATINUM RANK.
