RUBIDOUX - Six adults were arrested on suspicion of possessing more than 8,000 counterfeit music CDs and DVDs worth an estimated $132,000.

The six are accused of manufacturing or selling counterfeit goods, criminal conspiracy and failing to disclose the origin of the recordings, according to a Riverside County sheriff's news release.

Maria Del Carmen Martinez, 55, of Fontana; Francisco Servan, 51, of Fontana; Evangeline Estrada, 48, of Fontana; Jose Virgen, 48, of Colton; Seforiano Carrasco, 28, of Riverside; and Angelina Sanchez, 22, of Mira Loma; were arrested Thursday and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside.

A 14-year-old juvenile also was picked up by police and released to a parent.

Deputies from the Jurupa Valley sheriff's station and investigators from the Recording Industry Association of America Anti-Piracy Unit responded Thursday to a report of suspicious activity at A-American Self Storage at 2431 Rubidoux Blvd.

Deputies were told that people were possibly selling or manufacturing narcotics out of the storage unit, and one person was acting as a lookout, according to the sheriff's news release.
