I guess that port would be shared by A LOT OF SERVERS . Thts y its for $40.

1gbps port costs $1500, divided between 30 servers, thts about $50 per server not bad.

Correct but the dedicated server would be getting aproxx 33mbps to them depending if anybody is abusing it.

Yeah but its always unstable , sometimes speed go to 200 MBPS, and at peak times about 1-2mbps.

Just imagine this scenario, nowadays most people are buying dedi's for RL Hosting or for seedbox purposes means for intensive bandwidth usage purposes and if that port is shared with even about 20 servers hosting about 5 clients or accounts each then well you can urself imagine the condition of the uplink and the speeds that you will be getting.

That's y i only prefer 100mbit dedicated connections but yeah if you need variable speeds then 1gbit is the way to go as you will benefit in that.

DJ its true, 1GBps port is for $40 extra for Core 2 Quad but its not UL BW. Its 5TB BW
UL BW costs $1200 !

No it isnt shared and its your own port.
I have tested it and I am using it in my own dedicated too and it really is 1GBps

I did a speed test and speed test gave me 79MBps download speed.
With ssh wget command also I downloaded a 500MB file in 6 seconds
