my current shared hosting allows me to use a maximum of 20% CPU resource,
When i had PHPBB3 i exceed this limit a few times, I was wondering how much resource are we allowed to use on a semi dedicated server (wrzhost's)?

@bxflox It could possibly depend on which package you choose with the company. Int his case if you are choosing wrzhost, that is a question you should ask wrzhost on their website.

A VPS is recommended since on VPS you do not have such WHM user % restriction, and you have your own apache instance.

I have a semi-dedi with wrz-host and I have about the same load as you. It is fine for me so it should be for you.

I think you should be looking at getting your own VPS, that way you get access to full guaranteed resources, a bit more expensive because you need to pay for cPanel license... but you can always use DirectAdmin or kloxo.
