Show IP

Hey I tried an app to show my webcam to people (it's for a friend of mine but im making some test first on my laptop).

The programas is ActiveWebcam and seems to be working just great, (not cracked yet, crack it's not working maybe cuz im on Windows 7).

Well the program generated a html file which I have to give to the person I want to see the webcams from my pc, the problem is that im on a local network, so here is the url:

http://192.168.x.2:8080/

How can I give access to some1 to this url if he is out of this network?

I forgot, I tried with my router but's so confusing

Goto cmyip.com and paste that IP and add the :8080

so X.X.X.X:8080

see if that works

configure your dns. goto http://www.whatsmyip.org/ get that, then get the domain. forward it to your ip.

What's one of them? lol. Have you tried signing to the ip? If so what options does it give?

Not too many, searched for everything, I can't find an option to change the same things the guy changed on the video.

I know this is not that hard but still confusing...

Can you take a screen shot and blank out all important stuff - passwords ips etc
