fucking ovh. but, it happens. i just don't understand why you NEED to re-install the operating system and wipe out everything just to get rid of rescue mode.

The need to re-install is part of their "dull" support - honestly - because you are supposed to get cheap budget priced servers, their lack of support is included within the package. It shows that they are not professional and they just want to offer a service and if things go tits up, then you just start at point zero, with a clean OS.
