How to convert a phpBB / Vbulletin theme to WCDDL skin??

I've seen some topics saying WCDDL xxxx Themes V1 / v2 (phpBB converted)

I just want to know how this conversion is made. Does that mean just taking the images from the phpBB / vbulletin skin and use them for WCDDL theme. (of course coding them to make it a whole)

yes basically its just cloning the theme but compatible for wcddl phpbb to wcddl is actually really easy to do

Therefore everything is CSS, php and images from existing skins of phpBB or anything

The problem with converted themes is that theres alot of really bad rippers who aint got a clue how to convert a style,

they leave css/html code in there thats not even used and is just poorly done!

if your going to clone a PhpBB theme you should start from scratch looking at the DOM structure and then adding selected css little bit at a time other wise its a crap job!

yes I agree with litewarez, either make sure to take out left over unused coding or start from scratch using the template as reference.
