    Default Google Analytics Update

Webmasters (for those of you who have analytics)

Update your code if you would like

the urchin.js tracker is being replaced by ga.js

google says it will have "updates" available only for ga.js

Note: urchin.js will NOT be replaced (at least for now), there is just two choices.

But more information on the new one it seems. No specifics on what.

For those of you who don't have analytics get on the ball..It is very easy to use:

go to the site's account (don't click view reports)
    Under settings click "Edit"
NEXT to Receiving Data click (Check Status)

    you will see two codes
Legacy Tracking Code (urchin.js) New Tracking Code (ga.js)

as you can see the update already took place, just no detailes of new analyzing information.
    just simply replace your code.

Ohh right, strange how I never got an email about this..
Was this change made recently? Or was this enforced when they had the new look analytics?

I think because there is no new features, there is no email. therefore no need to update RIGHT now. but it won't hurt.

The only reason i found out, is because i needed to make a new account for my newest site. and i'm like o.O? 2 codes? interesting..
