Sound drivers installed but still no sound?

Hey all, recently formatted my system and everything is working fine except the speakers? All drivers are fully installed, there are no yellow exclamation marks in device manager and the speakers are plugged in What can I do now?

turn the volume up? or check if you have the correct drivers

if you have a disc... reinstall it, from device manager un-install the driver and re-install it man. Should work.

The volume is up and I do have the correct drivers, I did uninstall and reinstall it but still no luck

This is what it says when I open up teh sound options:

lol no audio-device... that's the problem. Maybe... comp does not recognize it... unplug the USB (if it is) plug it back in.
If not helping... then best choice is buying a new one

This used to happen with me also before. Tried windows update? Updating your windows might help to fix it if its a bug

The speakers don't use a usb, I have tried 2 sets of speakers but still it doesn't work? The speakers worked great before I formatted but now the sound isn't recognized. I do have onboard audio enabled in the BIOS so idk what else to do

if you have the cd that came with the mobo use that to install the sound drivers

Look up the make n model of the speaker for drivers on the net.
