Uninstall your driver.
Install this first: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/SOU...on-Audio.shtml
And then install your manufacturer over it if that doesn't work.

ultratechhost.comgo device manager and and u will find with yellow color then right click on it and update the driver then browse it to your cd drive or that folder in which you have that driver setup files then proced to next step it will install the driver.
If i am not wrong and it may be your laptop of HP/Compaq because these both company laptop have this issue then u have to do this after indtall the driver manually ( like we install it ) then go your c:// and see there is some number then go to that folder and there is another setup files and just install that again it will solve your problem.
