.WS domain name extensions why are they expensive

I would like to have some advice,why .WS domain name extensions are expensive than other domain name extensions.

.ws has 2 meanings behind it.

1) .website = .ws (for short so ws is used)
2) .ws = Western Samoa - country intended domain extension

Because it has a coutnry intended background...it's more pricey. Any domain with a country intended reason is usually a lot more expensive (.cd, .ag, .de, .au, .bb, etc).

Well i guess you have looked at the wrong place(s), most domain sites is quite costy when it comes to .ws but Dynadot.com have them for $8.99/year.

also alot of warez sites use them as it sorta looks like Warez Site

Oh i didn't know .WS domain name extensions was mostly use by warez site, I'm happy to know that now, anyway i brought goggles.ws couple of days ago.
What you guys think if i keep it for couple of years and sell it, do you think is a good idea or don't worth it.
