For awhile, distributing articles was considered a good way to get a high quality backlink as other webmasters would pick up your article and distribute around the internet. The article would usually link back to your site, giving yet another backlink in your favor. But, now it seems that links coming from sites such as ezine articles are being devalued and even penalized. Do you still think article promotion and distribution is good for backlinking?
