    Even you register a domain twitter and new domain extension nothing will happen until unless you do some silly things and cross their traffic that's not gonna happen anyway so your safe

    Is the word tweet a registered name already? If not, then you might be able to use it. However, if Twitter or other site has this word registered or trademarked, it might be off limits.
