Private nameservers are available on certain reseller plans, so that resellers can run their hosting operation without revealing the Kualo nameservers (ns1-ns4.kualo.net). This allows resellers to remain more anonymous and even brand their nameservers with their company name.

To register a private nameserver, you will need to log into your domain registrar and provide them with the details of the nameserver you wish to add, along with the IP addresses we have provisioned you with in your welcome email.

By default, your private nameservers will be configured as:

ns1.yourcompany.com
ns2.yourcompany.com
ns3.yourcompany.com
ns4.yourcompany.com

You will receive an email address for each nameserver, and you will need to submit the nameserver hostname and IP address to your domain registrar for yourcompany.com. You may need to contact their support for details on how to register private nameservers, as this will vary from registrar to registrar. Note that some registrars refer to private nameservers as 'Glue Records'.
