In the online business world, there are alot of strategies that you can do to drive traffic to your website. I’ve been around the block a few time when it comes to marketing on the internet, and I kind of have an idea of what I’m talking about when it comes to earning money online.

People ask me all the time, “What’s the fastest way to make money online?” And my simple reply is, “Ebay”. Why do I tell them Ebay instead of their own website? Because Ebay gets millions of visitors each day all looking to BUY something. Some people are making full time incomes off of Ebay, and you can do the same thing.

But… you should know that you have to play by their rules. You don’t own the website, so anything can happen. I advise that you learn how to start your own site, and learn how to market it online so that you can be in control of the activities that are going on with your site.

When you launch your site, you will need a tactical plan for getting sales. It’s a 2-step process:

1) Collect a lead
2) Email to this lead

Sounds simple doesn’t it? Well, it is.

For most businesses online, this simple model is all that is needed to earn a nice living with your website. Some people prefer just leading people straight to their website for a direct sell – and this is okay also. You will have to test which option works best for your business.

But generally, it’s probably best if you stick to the 2-step plan mentioned earlier. This is especially true if you’re promoting affiliate products. Direct linking to an affiliate link will produce low conversions, and people aren’t willing to click on an affiliate link – nor a URL shortener.

If you want to earn a nice income online, this is what it takes. You have to put the work in and go hard with your marketing. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. It is possible to earn a nice living online, and to do it effectively. Many people are using the 2-step approach above with success to make thousands per month in their business. But you need to know something else.

With the strategy mentioned, you will need alot of leads to make a ton of income online. You will need to build up a list into the thousands to see the results that you are looking for. Now imagine if you had a customer list that was into the thousands… you’d be easily earning thousands of dollars each and every week.

Go hard with your marketing, and keep your hopes high. Don’t let anyone or anything get in the way of you marketing online successfully. You can do it, and I believe in you.

Also, when you start to get sales, make sure that you implement a good backend marketing strategy to get more sales from your customers. This is where 80% of your total sales will come from, so be sure to put this into your marketing agenda also.
