It's recommended to keep your scripts updated as new versions may fix security risks and other bugs.

Here is a list of all scripts we currently have installed through Softaculous.

If there is a new version of a script, it will be indicated by this icon.

    2) Click it to begin.
    3) Click Upgrade.

    4) After a moment, the new files will be copied over. To complete the installation, use this link and follow the instructions for each installer.

yes its very easy to upgrade scripts via Sofaculous and if you dont have cpanel then try with SSH follow below procedure

Get the latest WordPress version available:
    Uncompress it:
    tar xfz latest.tar.gz
Delete the wp-admin and wp-includes directories:
    rm -rf ./wp-includes/
    rm -rf ./wp-admin/
    Go to the wordpress directory:
    cd wordpress/
Now, it’s time to copy the downloaded files to your existing WP install, by overwriting old files:
    cp -rpf -f * ../
Once done, come back to the WordPress directory and remove the downloaded files:
    cd ..
    rm -rf ./wordpress/
    rm -f latest.tar.gz
