Etsy clone website

I am very interested in this new Etsy Clone website that is built to work like etsy located here: http://etsyclone.com/

I am hesitant to purchase it because I have no clue about copyright or any other legal issues and trouble I could get into. Do you think it is safe to have such a website?

Any help or insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

There is no reason you can't open your own Etsy like site, as Etsy does not hold the patent with online selling. However, you could not use the Etsy name or try to indicate in any way you are associated with Etsy or somehow they endorse your site.
