Pricing up a job (Site)
So i've been asked to do a website for pub/pool place.
And i was wondering on the actual charges for it, they don't want anything to fancy or hard to change so i was thinking about going the blog route and give certain people access to edit/add pages etc.
Anyhow, do i go for a premade theme? I'm no design/code monkey so i cannot do it, and it would be damn right cheaper option so it shouldn't put them off.
I'll have to do the following,
Buy Domain/hosting ( for the year )
Install Blog/Pre-made theme
Setup the following pages :
Results/Fixtures
Birthdays
Price List ( drinks/food )
About the place
Special Offers
So was wondering if it was YOU how much would you charge for all of the above?
Keep in mind your need to update the site (script ), and correct any mistakes etc.GeeZus Reviewed by GeeZus on . Pricing up a job (Site) So i've been asked to do a website for pub/pool place. I do web design for local clients @ $300 (5-page) for the basic website and $100 for per additional page.
For management, it's an additional $30/month (minor updates and hosting).
If you are using a pre-made, do make some adjustments here and there so it looks unique.
Super busy. I have to forward this email to 20 people in 5 minutes or else a ghost will visit me tonight and my room is a mess

That seems like a very generous amount of money to be paid for a basic website. And, it just goes to show how you will always earn more when you work with local businesses offline rather than trying to secure clients online as most people online expect the same thing for a few dollars and are not willing to pay you what it's worth.

Probably setting up a WP and installing a decent Ecommerce plugin, would work. I'm not sure about this though. Cause, if you don't want anything to be traded online, then a simple WP blog would sufffice.
And you could charge anywhere between 250-500$ (it totally depends upon you and the client )

Ah ok nice replies, and yeah it would have a logo made so it's unique as possible.
Nothing will be traded online so it won't need the Ecommerce plugin ( they would probably break it anyway lol )
Just going to think of some prices and will talk to the owner and see what he thinks.
And don't really want to price myself out of this so gotta sound reasonable to him ( he knows nothing about websites/hosts etc ) so could be a tough one lol.$project->uploading($surprise);

eih.bz pornDDL.me sexytattoochicks.tumblr.comI have ever charged €400 for a website. I designed everything in photoshop and some other guys coded it (I paid $90 for psd to html).
So like 320 euros profit for me.
The site has 5+ pages and a lot of customizations. The person who ordered was happy with the outcome
PS: I'm not trying to advertise here, but if you want, I could probably design you some nice banners / logos etc for that website, if you need it of course

Hmm, interesting very interesting.
Yeah i would probably go for a pre-made theme and have a logo/banner/icons made for it, so would have to include that in the total price aswell.$project->uploading($surprise);

its up to you how much you will charge though and it depends in the outcome and if the owners likes it.
