how to setup cron in cpanel?

anyone know how to setup a cron in cpanel?
like say i want to run a hello.php everyday at 12 pm so what command should i enter in the Command to run: box in crontab of cpanel!

Well first click the cron job tab.
Then since you are not familiar with cron jobs, it is probably best that you pick simple cron.

Then put this in the box ->
php -q /home/username/file.php

I suggest put the cron above public_html so no1 can access it.

then set it up like this ->


That runs everyday at midnight

(remember to change the "username" to your cpanel username, and "home" if you are on like home2 or something. also the path to it )
