Several software will secure erase by writing data to every bit of space on the hard drive.

You will find several utilities gere http://www.techsupportalert.com/best...se-utility.htm

    thanks for your kind information...

i read it all but i not found any solution about previous deleted files about 1 years ago and formated but still it can be recover by recover software.

i want a solution that it can not be recover by any software....

Presently i am using erase software ..

i find a solution that 1st recover all the previous deleted and formated files and then again delete by erase software but it is very difficult and take so much time and spaces....

so any body know the step then please share it...

There is a method called Gutmann method, which deletes files very securely, by randomising the content etc.

softwares using this method - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gutmann...mplementations

Deleting with this method with 10+ repetition should be almost impossible to recover.
As the repetition increases, the possibility of recovering decreases.

remember that DoD deletion methods are not as secure as Gutmann.

If it's a disk drive (not flash, usb or SSD) I would suggest DBAN. If you're paranoid run it a few times. But to really be safe you can always use ol hammy

    DBAN:

Dban is very good. Your hard drive will be fine but the data will be all gone... A blank drive should exist.
