10 Tips to Work With Google Penguin for On-Page Optimization
All SEOers know that the new Google Penguin update is harsh, but very few know how to deal with it. And since there are no manuals from where to learn the new tactics and to adapt to the newest requirements of Google, it is even more difficult to find how to obtain good, quality results.
There are a number of things which can be done, however, and which can help SEOers avoid penalties and obtain notable results. It is very important to understand, first of all, that Google can now affect both on page optimization and off page optimization.
Here are some of the things we need to take into consideration when working with Google Penguin and dealing with on page optimization. Before starting, there are two elements that need to be set up in order to ensure penalties are out of reach:
1. Analyze the website's network
Eliminate all the spammy sites because they can affect rankings. For those who don't know what to use in order to find where links are coming from, they should know that there are many tools for this. It all comes down to which one they prefer best.
2. Monitor rankings
It's important to track the rankings on a website. Evaluate them for the targeted key words and see how the website was affected by the update.
On-page optimization is the first road SEOers need to take in order to improve the overall appearance of a website. Keep in mind that Penguin is, before anything else, a 'web spam' update -but nobody wants their site to be considered a spammy one, so they will need to obey the Penguin.
After the website's network has been analyzed and the rankings are monitored, here is what needs to be done for a better on-page optimization:
1. Keep content on the website and don't randomly delete it.
2. Eliminate over optimization in the page titles
3. Create unique Title tags and Description tags for every page
4. Use Google Webmaster Tools to fix a website's HTML
5. Reevaluate internal links by following this percentage:
40% brand links (e.g.: Mumpreneurs Online)
40% geenric links (e.g.: 'click here'; 'check this out')
20% target links (e.g.: work from home ideas)
6. Include the 'right elements' in the website, such as:
Site map for visitors
XML site map
Robots.txt file
Privacy Policy
Contact Page
7. Create internal links which lead to relevant information about what they are reading - this is similar to what Wikipedia does.
8. Increase the websites' download speed
9. Design a user-friendly 404 page
10. Include a social dimension, such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, G+, and so on.
These are only few of the things business owners can do in order to improve their website's rankingsIfirst Reviewed by Ifirst on . 10 Tips to Work With Google Penguin for On-Page Optimization You know some more tricks , then state in reply Rating: 5Helping people is my hobby.....
