KWWH desktop notifications or something similar

Is good idea if KWWH make a "desktop" notifications, now I get it via mail with the emesene notification windows (in linux, lol).

Or something similar... or any idea to do this easy? any soft to do this?

I know that KWWH needs visits to the site to make it sustainable, but I mean notification + the link to the page

it`s actually a pretty cool idea but i think C++ coder needed to make something like this...

nope .net 2.0, the app itself is very lightwt, why use 4.0 or 4.5 for simple things?

there is Mono frame work that will server the purpose on Mac & Linux!
