FireFox Search Plugin for DDL CMS

Was a bit bored today and thought it would be a good idea to give users the option to add my ddl site to thier search engine list in FireFox.

After a little bit of research i have come up with a simple mod to do this and thought i would share it with you all.

Install:
create a file called evilsearch.src and add the code below, editing the file to your needs/urls.

Upload that to the root directory of your ddl cms install.

Open header.php and add this code between the HEAD tags.

Now add this code in leftside.php where you want to show the link, again replacing my details with yours.

Could be used in any script really as long as it uses PHP.

Just use relative paths instead.

Why use Javascript =/? The one I did for C-P just gets automatically detected by FF and auto updated if needed with 2 lines of html.

Works with many more browsers including chrome ffx etc and is based on a single xml file and a meta teg ! so much simpler !

I don't know your method, would appreciate it if you post it

I would rather have both as most people don't notice the "add site" thing in ff, i never have until it was brought up here and wouldn't think to look unless it was a major search engine.
