There are different ways to get traffic beside backlinks.

For instance, 3 days ago, i used a legal rss submission technique (rss bookmark websites>custom rss feed>pingler+feedburner) for my new wp niche blog, and i got increase in traffic from 5UV/day to 40+ UV/day(organic) , and increasing.

there are other methods, like social sharing, ads etc.

this is good for getting 50-100UV/day, or more. but dont expect thousands . good for niche blog like ours
