Well, I'd suggest to get a shared hosting on ovh.com. No more worries about security etc, it's cheap and pretty good for a brand new site. You won't need more

As for domain, it should be unique, not too long and include some tech related terms in it.

For earnings, don't even think of making millions in the first 3 months.
If I were you, I'd run it for few months to get some decent alexa ranking, backlinks etc and then put ads on it.
First content then ads
