Well good news. Paypal reviewed the account and found that it did not violate ANY of their policies/terms and have reinstated access, WITH an apology. Always nice to hear an apology, but I'm still anti-paypal so to speak.

LifeTalk, you may be interested to know that Carrot have been trying to get a merchant account for some time now and are apparently close to getting approved from a local bank in Hong Kong. Better still, fees are lower than Paypal, so with any luck, in October there will be 'Credit Card Pass Through' instead with reduced top-up/pass-through fees.

Correct, except I'm obviously going to stay far, far away from Carrot. I talked to them and they told me they could not pay me the amount owed to me because it was locked in their Paypal account. You'd think someone reputable would pay me the amount owed regardless of their situation since I'm not responsible for what happened to them. But I can either wait for 6 months (this is worse than Paypal - because in Paypal's terms I would have been locked for a reason, etc; here I'm paying the price for their misfortune) or elect to have all my clients refunded (which is frankly a much larger disaster).

I'll be sure to warn everyone to stay away from Carrot. For a company that prides itself on not being like Paypal, they're far worse in fact.

Just say you will wait 6 months. They won't just keep your funds. They will pay you out as soon as they get access to their funds. The only thing you have to worry about is if there are chargebacks made against carrot.

paypal told me that they will ask about documentation and certain informations

I wonder what kind of documentation, only basic informations like ID card and so on? because all payments received are digital

Paypal already started banning accounts related and used in warez, porn donations or other illegal activities. So there is no recovery from these. If an individual account got banned from a website which sells real services or when someone paid you money, i can help you.

So i was try to call, anything i will provide. But still can not release my paypal account.
And paypal transfer all my money from my paypal account eith bank transfer.

So i now not have paypal... cheerss....

Hello guys,

I just got my PayPal account permanently limited as well. I am a reseller of file host however I do run my own webhosting company as well. It was a genuine mistake that I forgot to turn off PayPal as a payment options (as all products share the same billing system: WHMCS) and some orders went through
Sad enough that they don't allow me to explain myself regardless of my situation and just limit my account without any warning.

Will try to call them and keep you guys updated!
