reloaded-games.orgrapidshare question
hio guyz
i have a question about rapidshare
i want to backup my files, my files are too big at least 7 gb/game
so i really need a good filehost to backup my files
about rapidshare:
if i upload my files to RS in account A, publish links and then save these files to another account B, using rapid save, but not publish
will these files be deleted in account B if files deleted in accoun A ,due to DMCA ?
rapidleech will be good to transfer rapidshare files to another host like UL and extabit?
is it necessary to have RS premium to use rapidleech?mazzo Reviewed by mazzo on . rapidshare question hio guyz i have a question about rapidshare i want to backup my files, my files are too big at least 7 gb/game so i really need a good filehost to backup my files about rapidshare: if i upload my files to RS in account A, publish links and then save these files to another account B, using rapid save, but not publish Rating: 5

porn4dl.info sartouthost.com sartoutrecords.comOnce those links are not given out they should be safe due to the fact the account should be private.
The only way DMCA request is there is because someone found your link and report it.
Hope this helps your answer.
But in this time and age I could be wrong.

I had the same question previously, so I did a test myself with 2 account (free account) :
I've upload a file in account A
I use rapidsave to put this file to the account B
Then, as a anonym user, I've reported the link from account A
Result : Both links were marked as "illegal because DMCA" !!!
So, useless to use rapidsave to put the link on another account

If you rename the files it should not be a problem. But if they are exactly the same they will be deleted for sure.

I think RS doesn't use the name, but the md5's signature of the file (but not sure, I will try later on)

Yes they will. RS marks a file as illegal according to its MD5 hash.
In order to qualify for safe harbor, RS must disable systemwide access to a file about which it receives a valid DMCA notice.
If user 1 uploads a file to RS, and user 2 subsequently uploads the exact same file (same MD5 hash) RS will disable access to the file with the effect that both user 1 and user 2 become unable to access the file.
Now the scenario might be interesting if user 1 is a different legal position than user 2.
Assume that user 1 has bought a cd legally deciding to store it in his RS user account. This is clearly fair use provided that user 1 doesn't share the link, but now comes user 2 uploading the same identical file, but user 2 being a cheapskate has not gotten the file from his own cd but from a torrent site.
User 2 now shares the link, and then the copyright holder sends RS a complaint identifying the file by MD5 hash.
RS disables systemwide access, but unfortunately for user 1 the effect is that the file also becomes inaccessible in his user account inspite of not having shared the link.
If you already have Rapidleech, you'll have to download the file change the MD5, and re-upload it again to a different account.
