Help - create an ftp server.

I do not speak French, sorry for my bad english.

I would like to create an ftp server, I need to manage multiple users, managing quotas (disk space, bandwidth, etc ...).

There will be no hosting website. It would be the best solution?

The configuration will be:

CentOS 6.3

CPU: Atom D525 - 1.8 GhZ
RAM : 4 GB
HDD : 2 X 500 GO (RAID 0/1)
Connection 1 Gb/s
Port Speed : 100Mbps
Bandwidth :unlimited

i have not used bulletproofftpserver on something like you have there, alot of people in the warez scene used to use this though and install on their own machine to share files with ea other, it has all the options you are looking for to manage users,cap bw etc.

Software costing $ 40 for the server and $ 35 for the client. And it's for Windows

My server is Linux (CentOS 6), and I want a free solution.

Im sure you could find a cracked version of the same software if you were to google it, in the times i ever used it thats all i ever did, i imagine its for Warez anyway no? lol

No it is not for the Warez, but to make backup server (WHM/cPanel or DirectAdmin).

My dedicated server running Linux, not Windows.

I am looking for a free solution and legal!

On CentOS you need proftpd http://www.proftpd.org/

You have some addons for mysql etc .. Very nice ftp server.
