    Default Apache displaying massive Reading request

    hi:
    one vps server is busy these days, webpage opening very slow, sometimes can not open at all, but ping speed has not changed, online visitors about the same, 100-200 online.
    From WHM, i can see a lot "?" Reading request, maybe this is the reason making the busy server, I don't know what is it and how do I terminate it??

    12gb ram and still slow ? strange.

    do u have apache, mysql application running ?

    run top command and post the status.

    the only problem is that when every day at 8 to 11 Oclock this is very busy and load shows normal, only when ? ..reading.. status shows in apache lots of same reading ..
    site gos badly slow.. but whm working fine.
    one that vps forums sites running... mostly 200 to 400 users online.

    The users you removed are consuming the server.

    maybe the time between the 8 to 11 is backup time.

    are you using OS 64 or 32?

    BTW run "yum update" to update the server software to latest version.

    Yes its 64 bit.. and yum updated.. already.
