GTA IV Issue

I installed GTA IV but after starting of the game i cant see anything except my car i tried to change graphic settings from options but i cant change i dont know whats the problem please can any one tell me how to change the settings ..is there any fix??

Or can anyone tell me how to switch INTEL HD GRAPHICS TO NVIDIA

Maybe your GFX card suck? which model do you have?

Possible.. Intel won't run GTA IV unless & until your got 2nd gen i5 or i7
What's your GPU model?
And when you're using Nvidia & your monitor is attached to THAT card. Then what's the role of INTEL integrated graphics in that ffs

GT 540M will definitely run the game with ease & you didn't mention that it was a laptop So i said the monitor input thing

** Dxdiag says that your GPU isn't working & Integrated graphics is working. Update your GPU driver and check if it's working properly

should i reinstall the game? i have download this from torrent (13.8 GB )

you can't play big games with your GRAPHICS card, i have the same i try assassin's creed and not work.
you have integrated GRAPHICS card you need to buy another

install the latest updates
close all running programs while playing(from the task manager)
install the programs (D3DOverrider+GameGain)

And do what mazzo said.
Check nvidia configuration too.

Addition: Go to Device Manager -> Display Adaptors -> Check properties of your GPU if it's working properly.

restartd the computer but again same thing happend
